Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Price, Specifications Leaked; Tipped to Pack 6.99-Inch 18:9 Display, 5500mAh Battery
The Xiaomi Mi Max series is set to get an upgrade soon with the upcoming Mi Max 3. New rumours suggest that the upcoming phablet will sport a 6.99-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This is in line with earlier rumours of a 7-inch display on the ‘phablet’. Other hardware specifications of the phone, including battery capacity, processor, RAM, and cameras, have also been leaked online. According to the leak, the Mi Max 3 is expected to launch in June 2018 at a price of CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 16,900).
A tipster on Weibo has posted details about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 3. This post entails several specifications of the phablet. The Mi Max 3 is tipped to sport a 6.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. According to the post, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor, coupled with 3GB/ 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64/ 128GB inbuilt storage.
In the camera department, the Mi Max 3 is being expected to feature a 12-megapixel rear camera sensor and a front-facing 5-megapixel sensor. The report also suggests that the Mi Max 3 might have a dual camera setup at the back.
Additionally, the Weibo post claims that the smartphone will have a 5500mAh battery under the hood, with support for reverse charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. There are no details regarding the software on the Mi Max 3, although we can expect it to arrive with the latest MIUI 9.
Notably, a previous report by CNMO had suggested that the upcoming phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor with another premium variant powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was launched in May 2017. The smartphone sports a 6.44-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which precedes the Snapdragon 635 SoC expected on the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
